Halloween

Once upon a time there lived four boys and their names were Simione, Taiwan, Justin and Jay. They were getting ready for Halloween. Then Lopeti came over and we thought that he was going to kill us because he was wearing a vampire costume. I was going to punch him on his face but he took off his mask and started laughing. Then they got ready, the got their bags and the left. Then Frank had a idea and he said lets go to Mission Bay.

After they left to go to Mission Bay They went to each house and they scared nearly the whole neighbourhood. Then they went to Glen Innes and they were so worried that somebody will take there lollies because Glen Innes is a place of stealing.

Suddenly a man came up to us with a gun and said “Give me your lollies all else i will blow off your head”. They started to run but Simione and Jay were just standing there because it was a fake gun also it was my cousin Frank. Then they went to their teacher Mr Slade and they did a prank on him. They went and knocked on the door and they ran and hid. After he opened the door he said is there anybody out there and they jumped out of the place they hid in and scared Mr Slade.

After when they pranked Mr Slade, Mr Slade gave them some lollies and they said thank you.

Then they went back home but on the way home we had to go and take Frank home because he was scared to walk by himself, So they had to go and drop him off home then we went back home and we started to eat our lollies and we played XBOX 360.

Zombies

Narrative Writing

Once upon a time the lived three boys and there names were Simione, Tony and James. They were packing their clothes to go camping in the forest. After they packed their clothes Simione drove the car to the forest. Then they went out of  the car and looked for a good place to have their camp. James was scared. Simione went and looked for some sticks to start the fire while Tony and James sets up the tents. While Simione was looking for the sticks he heard a noise from the bush. Simione started to walk slowly. Then he heard another noise. Then he started to run back to the tents with the sticks. When he got back he saw that Tony and James were already zombies. Simione started to run but the whole of New Zealand. was full of zombies. Some zombies were flying with a jetpack. They tried to kill Simione. Simione ran as fast as he could but the zombies was still behind him, Until he heard a gunshot. The man that shot the zombie gave Simione a shotgun, His name was frank. They went and fly a plane. First they upgraded the plane. The put lots of Missiles on the wings of the plane. They had to go into the plane. They had to put their belts on. Simione started the plane. Simione was scared but Frank wasn’t scared because he was a pilate. When they were flying in the sky the zombies were still following with their jetpacks. the zombies went fly back because Simione pressed the button to fire. After Simione pressed the fire button they went and fly all the way to Tonga. Tony and James were still following behind them. Tony and James jumped on the top of the plane. Suddenly they heard the top of the plane started to rip. Tony and james jumped down. They started to come closer. They were getting ready to bite them so they can turn into a zombie too. Suddenly Simione and Frank was turned into zombies. The zombies was in the plane and Simione and Frank took the zombies to Samoa The zombies killed everyone in Samoa. After they went to Samoa they went  all around the islands. After they went around the islands they went around each country. After they wrecked the country the whole world was full of zombies. The End.         

Broken arm

Once upon a time there lived three kittens and their names were Taiwan, Simione and Aisake. Simione had a broken arm because he got run over by a car, Lose the mother of the  kittens started to cry. The mum was crying for a long time. After the  mum stopped crying she asked Simione if it was sore and he said no. Kilisitina the owner went and took it to the vet and the doctor put a plaster on the cats broken arm and it was feeling better. The doctors name was Leki. But the mum was still worried that he will only have three legs left.

So the owner took the cat back home and the three cats were hungry. So the owner fed the cats and it started to sleep. After they slept Jay and Taiwan woke up and they started to wake up mum and simione but they never knew that they were jumping on Someone's arm. Simione woke up and started crying and they had to go  back to the vet and the doctor put another plaster on his arm because it was bleeding. So Simione felt better and they went back home and they had a good sleep. The End.

Burning house

Once upon a time there lived a man called tupac. His house were located in east asia. he was lost because after his party he was so drunk that this weird man dropped him off to this weird house. When he woke up and he was in this house. When he got of bed he ran out and looked around, but he was lost. When he ran back inside he could smell gas and he ran to the living room but it wasn’t from there, so he ran and looked in the kitchen and he saw the whole kitchen on fire. He ran out and called for help but no one heard him. So he grabbed out his cellphone and he called his brother but he had no signal. So he ran back inside but he saw the hallway burnt, So he just ran straight through the fire and straight to his room and grabbed a shirt and ran straight out. Then he saw a hill right in front of him. Then he  saw Japan. He ran down, then he slipped and he hit a rock. He fell all the way to the ocean and he broke every single bone in his body. THE END.

Life in Room 6

In Room 6 we have fun because Mr Slade sometimes gives us easy work, sometimes hard work. We sometimes get free time because we've finished our work in time. Room 6 is so lucky to have a teacher like Mr Slade. Mr Slade is so smart because he says when we be naughty then he will send us out to the peace room. He sometimes says when we have 3 strikes our parents will get called in. He is cool because he lets us go outside to play dodge ball. In my class the behaviour is bad because some of the girls and boys don't do their work.

Term reflections

For term two, my highlight was swimming because I didn’t know how to swim but now I know how to swim. My highlight for this term were fractions because on term one I didn’t know fractions.

My lowlight for this term was  netball because I got hit by someone on the court. My lowlight for this term is music because I always get sent out of the room.

I am looking forward to rugby league because I have never played rugby league in my life. I am also looking forward to our inquiry about Asia because I don’t even know anything about Asia.

1. Matthew is a huge rugby league fan and has 28 NRL cards. One quarter of them are Melbourne Storm cards. How many of them are Melbourne Storm cards?

STRATEGY: 28÷4=7. 7×1=7

SOLUTION SENTENCE:

There is 7 Melbourne Storm cards.

2. In Mark’s class there are 18 children. ⅓ of them are boys. How many boys are in Mark’s class?

STRATEGY:18÷3=6. 6×1=6

SOLUTION SENTENCE:

There are 6 boys in Mark’s class.

3. Luke has 32 first cousins. ¾ of them live in Auckland and the rest of them live in Wellington. How many of Luke’s cousins live in Auckland?

STRATEGY: 32÷4=8. 8×3=24

SOLUTION SENTENCE:

24 of Luke’s cousins are in Auckland.

Week 8 Reflection

My highlight for week 8 is maths because I learned word problems.

My lowlights for week 8 is rugby because there was a fight.

I am looking forward for swimming on Monday because we haven’t swum this week.

I need to think about consequences of my actions because I almost had a fight today with this boy.

Jonny's Visit

On Tuesday Jonny Wartman came to room 6 at Saint Pius X Catholic School. He came to tell us how he became a graffiti artist. He also told us where he came from. He was from Christchurch. He told us lots of stuff about himself. After that we went outside and sat under the shade. Then he told us that he was going to do a picture, But he was going to spray paint. When he finished we had to take a photo of him and us. My favourite part was when he was painting with his spray cans. It was fun to have a graffiti artist.

My highlight for this week is swimming because I never knew how to swim. My highlight for this week again is music because at the end to had to play the guitar and Lose had to play the piano.

Nickson from MaiFm

On Wednesday  we were lucky to have a visit from Nickson from Mai Fm. He came to tell us about what it is like to work at a radio station. It was so fun that he told us that he can record something from here. Then he said that he told Taiwan to sing and the song was What makes you beautiful by One Direction. He also said that they play 170 songs per week. He told us about his radio station and he said that there is 37 radio station in Auckland. He gave us some CD songs and some cards.My favourite part was when he told Taiwan to sing and he recorded him on his I phone.    

Michelle Visit

On Friday we had a great funny guest speaker who spoke to us about how she became successful. She came to tell us how she became successful. She came from this place at Manukau and it was called Niu FM. Her name was Michelle Newton. She told us to work hard and study hard. She also told us that she was a stand up comedian. She told us a joke and some funny stories. She has two dogs and she told us that she has two children. The best part was when she spoke in a Tongan, Samoan and Cook Island.

Catholic School Day

On the 21ist of may St Josephs from orakei came to our school. They came to us to celebrate catholic school day. They came to have a mass with us. they brought their priest and their altar servers. Their priest’s name was father Terry and our priest was father Ioane.

After mass we had to buddy up with a class from St Josephs school. We had to buddy up with room1. We were sharing lunch and we were playing at the field. We were playing bullrush.

After we were playing, the bell rang and we ran to have a drink and to go toilet. We had to line up to go to the hall and show St Josephs what we had been learning about. They sang songs and we sang songs. The song that they sang was Count On Me by Bruno mars. It was fun to have them. We hope that they will visit us again.

Pictogram blog

We are learning about statistical literacy. This means reading and writing about statistics. We learned about pictogram. One of the most important things to look for is the key. The key is important because its tells you picture.   

Dangerous Animal

This is the only the dangerous animal that I thought of and here are some of the facts the I wrote.

Goldilocks and the three bear's persuasive writing

My opinion is that Goldilocks should go to jail.

Firstly, she broke into the bear’s house. She knew that she wasn’t allowed break into the bear’s house. The thing that she did was trespassing and it was against the law. She also had no right to do that. Would you like it if she broke into your house?

Secondly, she used things without asking and broke things. She broke things that she couldn’t afford to pay for the things that she broke in the house. How would you like it if she came into your house and broke things in your house?

Thirdly, she left when the bears came home. It was so rude that she ran away from the bears because she didn't come back and ask for forgiveness. She also didn’t say sorry for what she did. How would you feel if she did not come back and say sorry for what she had done?

My opinion of Goldilocks is she should go to jail because she did not have a right to break into the bear’s house.
